PLATECOIL Heat Exchangers are made from two metal sheets. When welded together, the embossing on the sheets forms a series of passages. These are the passages through which heat transfer media flows. Standard panels for PLATECOIL Heat Exchangers come in over 300 sizes. Widths range from 305 mm to 1,092 mm (12 in. to 43 in.) and lengths range from 584 mm to 3,632 mm (23 in. to 143 in.).

Manufactured with strict standards, PLATECOIL Heat Exchangers are tested before shipping. PLATECOIL Heat Exchangers are often shipped a few days after the order is placed.

PLATECOIL Heat Exchangers can be made into any shape or configuration because of its flexibility. PLATECOIL Heat Exchangers can also use several types of surface finishes to reduce maintenance.

Plate heat exchangers, sometimes called PHE, are specially designed to transfer heat between two fluids. The fluids are spread out over a large surface area between metal plates. Plate heat exchangers are best suited for heat transfer between medium and low pressure fluids. For high pressure fluids, a welded heat exchanger or a brazed plate heat exchanger is generally used.
